At PBFinestre, the painting of wooden windows reflects a commitment to durability, quality, and environmental sustainability. Our painting facility uses exclusively eco-friendly, water-based paints, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring a healthy indoor environment.
PBFinestre is dedicated to enhancing the environmental sustainability of its products. Over 70% of the paints used in our facility are derived from recycling processes, which helps to reduce material consumption and waste, contributing to better resource management.
The water-based painting process for wooden windows strikes a perfect balance between high performance, natural aesthetics, and environmental care. Compared to traditional solvent-based options, water-based paints are non-toxic, free from harsh chemicals, and ideal for use in window production. These paints also possess remarkable elasticity, allowing them to adapt to the natural micro-movements of wood over time, resulting in unprecedented durability.
Our in-house painting facility is equipped with advanced technologies to ensure precise and long-lasting finishes. More than 70% of the paints we use come from recycling processes, reducing material waste and promoting better resource management.
From well-being to sustainability, combined with exceptional aesthetics, the water-based paints we use can create any desired color solution that is both effective and durable.
The process includes four distinct stages, enabling precise control over the paint thickness, measured in microns, applied to each window. The primer and intermediary layers are applied using a Flow Coating system, which ensures uniform coverage. The final coat is applied using electrostatic spray painting, which allows the wooden surface to attract the paint evenly and efficiently.
Drying occurs in two stages: microwave drying for rapid water evaporation and hot air tunnel for stabilizing the finish's molecules. Once this process is complete, the window is ready for the next phase of assembly.
In our facility, over 70% of the paints used are sourced from recovery processes, thereby reducing material consumption and waste while contributing to resource conservation and improved management.
From well-being to sustainability, paired with exceptional aesthetics: the water-based paints we use in the production of PB windows can bring any color solution to life effectively and with long-lasting results.
